How transition finance could help Indonesia decarbonise

Indonesia hopes to sign an agreement at the G20 on the investment needed for its transition from fossil fuels.

At November’s G20 summit in Bali, Indonesia is expected to become the second country to sign a so-called just energy transition partnership (JETP) with richer countries to help it transition from fossil fuels to renewable energy. If so, it will follow in the footsteps of South Africa at COP26 in Glasgow.
