A new study makes the case for the development of “non-offset” claims – and their merits – as companies increasingly look for alternative ways to take action on climate.

Aside from net zero pledges and carbon neutrality claims, new forms of corporate climate action are needed to support Paris Agreement-aligned targets, according to a paper by the Finnish non-profit the Compensate Foundation, which focuses on policy reform in voluntary carbon markets.
