New framework needed to tackle greenwashing in Europe, finds ESG think-tank

Specific measures to address environmental impact claims are needed to prevent greenwashing, a legal analysis of the existing framework has found.

European think-tank 2° Investing Initiative (2DII) says new measures are necessary to tackle false environmental impact claims and prevent greenwashing because current regulations are not always effective.
