UK competition watchdog likely to accept sustainability agreements following guidance

The Competition and Markets Authority has published its guidelines on collaborative sustainability deals between companies, and opened it up to consultation.

The UK’s Competition and Markets Authority said on February 28 it “is likely to look favourably on agreements” that follow its new sustainability guidance and is “very unlikely to prioritise them for enforcement action”.
