UK investors turning down start-ups over poor sustainability credentials, says Amazon

A new study finds that UK investors are opting not to invest in start-ups due to their weak ESG characteristics.

Fifty-six per cent of UK investors have turned down a start-up opportunity during the past year due to worries over a company’s sustainability credentials, according to research by Amazon.
