Half way through any COP is generally when the energy dips as coffee is no longer enough to fight the exhaustion and the widely differing visions of the world are made apparent for all to see. Day 6 in Dubai, deemed energy day, was no different. It began with the latest version of the “global stocktake” landing at 5am local time — though many on the ground insisted the energy did tick up as the day went on.
