The European Fund and Asset Management Association welcomes the European Commission’s proposal to oversee ESG rating activities but calls for more action on data to avoid greenwashing

The EU could become the first jurisdiction to regulate environmental, social and governance ratings after a vote in the European parliament, but investors say the agreement does not go far enough to prove the transparency that is needed.
