More private finance is needed for grid infrastructure, says renewables network

Renewable energy capacity additions worldwide increased 36 per cent between 2022 and 2023, reaching a new record, but this growth continued to be outpaced by increasing global energy demand, shows a report commissioned by global renewables network REN21.
