Large businesses call for greater climate regulation

Eight in 10 leaders of large businesses around the world believe regulation is needed to deliver net zero ambitions and to decarbonise the global economy, reveals a YouGov poll commissioned by the University of Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership.

Six in 10 of the respondents said they also believed decisions by investors and the financial system were important for their company’s net zero ambitions. The survey included more than 700 CEOs and senior business leaders from the US, the UK, Germany, South Africa, Brazil, India and Japan.
