Majority of European businesses have green energy strategy in place, survey finds

The phase-out of fossil fuels is considered the main energy transition priority by European businesses in 2024, says a survey by renewables developer BayWa RE

Eighty per cent of businesses in Germany, the UK, Italy, Spain and France have a green energy strategy in place, according to a survey commissioned by German renewables developer BayWa RE.  However, almost half (48 per cent) of companies are only “just starting” to implement such a plan.
