The alliance of institutional investors predicts that the rollout of clean technologies could provide investment opportunities of up to $275tn by 2050
The UN-convened Net-Zero Asset Owner Alliance has made the economic case for net zero in a new report. It says that keeping global temperature increases below 1.5C could provide investment opportunities of between $136tn and $275tn by 2050. This includes $20tn-$31tn of investment that is relevant to asset owners.
