Target-setting guidance issued for forestry, land and agriculture

The forestry, land and agriculture sector has finally been given guidelines on accounting for and mitigating its greenhouse gas emissions.

Companies operating in the forestry, land and agriculture (Flag) sector are responsible for nearly a quarter of global greenhouse gas emissions. Until recently, however, these businesses have lacked an effective methodology to address their land-related emissions and carbon removals.
