Explainer: UK new policies’ impact on green finance and the net zero industry

The government’s array of reviews, consultations and new investment priorities are meant to address energy security as well as decarbonisation goals, but experts agree these measures do not go far enough to counter clean tech subsidies announced in the US and Europe.

Last week, the British government released several sets of policy measures targeting energy security, net zero plans and a new green finance strategy.
