Increasing the number of women in senior positions can drive sustainability, with research showing women’s leadership boosts climate investments

The average share of women in board level positions has doubled in the decade between 2012 and 2022, according to data from analytics firm Morningstar, but women in corporate and ministerial “top jobs” remain rare.
