UK needs ‘national war effort’ approach to green skills, consultancy says

More than 4mn UK workers will need retraining to have the right skills for the net zero transition, with 80% in need of training before 2030, according to a report by consultancy Bain & Company

The UK government must take an approach similar to a “national war effort” to ensure it has skilled workers for the energy transition, a report by consultancy Bain & Company says.
