UK asset managers say ‘data gaps’ are making financial disclosures difficult

Companies in the UK are completing their first mandatory reports based on the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures recommendations – but many lack data about the assets they manage

UK companies with more than 500 employees and financial institutions with in excess of £5bn in assets under management have until the end of June 2024 to disclose, for the first time, information aligned with the recommendations of the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures.
